(4.5 kg) bag of Ardex Feather Finish, you’ll need to mix in 2 1/2 quarts (2.4 L) of water. This is the recommended water-to-powder ratio.Smaller Batches: If you’re working with smaller batches, you can adjust the mixing ratio. Use 2 parts of the powder to 1 part of water by volume for these cases.Coverage: The product’s coverage varies based on the thickness of application:At a thickness of 1/4″, you can expect coverage of about 16.7 sq. ft. per bag (1.5 sq. m at 6 mm).If applied at 1/8″ thickness, coverage will be approximately 33.3 sq. ft. per bag (3.09 sq. m at 3 mm).For a skim coat application, each bag can cover an area of 100-300 sq. ft. (9.2-27.8 sq. m). However, please note that the actual coverage might differ depending on the texture of the surface you are smoothing.
