Crafted in Sakai using traditional hongasumi construction, this Shobu-style yanagiba features a sword-inspired tip that provides added strength and control while maintaining refined sashimi slicing performance. The migaki (polished) finish accentuates the blade’s clean lines, and the single-bevel edge enables smooth, precise pull cuts. Fitted with a traditional Suigyu-e water buffalo horn handle, it offers excellent balance and durability, making it ideal for professional chefs working with larger or firmer fish.
