The STIHL HSA 100 battery hedge trimmer offers effective support in horticulture and landscaping, as well as public authorities, for trimming, efficiently and conveniently in noise-sensitive areas. The STIHL HSA 100 is a very high-performance hedge trimmer with a maintenance-free EC engine, powered by lithium-ion batteries. It always delivers a constant stroke rate even under load, and even when cutting thicker branches. The double-sided cutting blade delivers precise cuts, both when trimming and pruning. If tough branches block the blade system, you can quickly get going again simply by changing the blade rotation direction. You can turn the multi-function handle 90° to the left and right at the pull of a lever, enabling you to cut in different directions with your STIHL HSA 100 in a highly ergonomic manner, for example when cutting to the side or at head height. This allows you to easily guide your hedge trimmer with both your left and right hand. The loop handle also supports effortless working with the hedge trimmer. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces engine vibrations, protecting your muscles and joints during longer periods of work. Screw-on cut protection reduces the risk of contact with the cutting blades, thereby supporting safe work with the HSA 100 from STIHL. When cutting near the ground or on walls, the cutting attachment is protected against wear by the screw-on tip protector. The HSA 100 battery hedge trimmer has a bar length of 60 cm. All battery power tools within the STIHL AP-System have been designed for professional users and daily work, including in adverse weather conditions. With that in mind they are certified as splashproof; the effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others.
